I have been using the keyboard for almost a year now as my daily go-to device for work, occasional gaming and some blog writing and I’ll share my thoughts on what I like and dislike.
Design
The keyboard looks and feels premium, it’s not cheap. Bought it for £90 from Scan. Compared to previous keyboards that I’ve used, all made of cheap plastic, light and ugly, this feels better and looks cool with a minimal and very practical design.
The keys are bigger which took a while to get used to. If like me you got long and thin fingers it will take some time adjusting to the new feel of typing.
Really like the colours, it’s not boring/cheap black, but a mix of shades of grey that match well together and the illuminated keys look awesome in low light or a dark setting.
It’s heavy, because it’s wireless and needs room for battery space and it’s great. I use it for at least 8 hours every day and a full charge lasts 2 weeks which is impressive, no cables which makes a neat workspace table.
It’s a full-size keyboard meaning it has all function keys and a numpad which is helpful if you’re working a lot with numbers and excel.
Before I got the keyboard I was using primarily the laptop and it’s less stressful of a change compared to other keyboards I’ve tried when I had to use a PC over the laptop. So if you like the experience of typing on the laptop then Logitech MX Keys is a very good alternative to the same feel when you must use a PC.
For an extra £10, you can get the keyboard with the palm rest on Logitech online store which if bought separately is sold for £17 on Amazon.
Battery and charging
And it’s charging with a Type-C which is good news for most people who use the latest tech and can have a charger for multiple devices.
Typing experience
It takes some time getting used to if you’re switching from a laptop, it’s not very different. It’s more spaced out unlike the laptop where everything is smaller and closer together.
Conclusion
Definitely an upgrade if you’ve been using a cheap £20 keyboard so far, but if you’re into mechanical keyboards then you might not enjoy the radical change.
